Community Service And Outreach

The Community Service and Outreach group is active in improving the Cambridge community, catering to the at-risk and in-need populations of the area. The focus of this group is to provide volunteers and support for local non-profits, programs, and organizations that seek to better the greater Harvard community.

We will also create our own projects and programs to improve the Cambridge community. The projects will capitalize on what Harvard Neighbors does best: Being a good neighbor. In the past, Neighbors has helped to support the Y2Y Harvard Square Homeless Shelter. We have supplied them with volunteers when the students are away and held a food drive for them. We hope to continue to work with Y2Y in the future while also working alongside other organizations in the community.
