MIT Women’s Chorale

The MIT Women's Chorale welcomes new singers from throughout the MIT and Harvard communities to join us for our fall semester, preparing for our winter concert on Saturday, December 10th.  Rehearsals with our director, Kevin Galiè, begin on September 14 and take place on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:30 in room 10-340 at MIT.  The Chorale is filled with interesting and friendly women who are serious about making music and serious about enjoyuing making music.  Our featured work for this semester will be the Dixit Dominus of Baldassari Galuppi, which will be performed with string quartet and organ.  We ask that singers join by the second rehearsal, September 21, and that all prospective members contact us at  Please visit our website for more information:

Come sing with us!  The Chorale welcomes women from throughout both the Harvard and MIT communities.  Our members, who represent many cultures and a wide span of ages, are serious about making music and serious about having fun while we sing.  Our December 6th holiday concert will include a spirited Mass by Michael Haydn, music of Bach and Giordano, a Hannukah piece written especially for us by our music director, Kevin Galiè, and an original and amusing piece by a local musician who is an MIT alum.

*PLEASE NOTE:  OUR SECOND REHEARSAL, AND ONLY THAT REHEARSAL, WILL TAKE PLACE ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 18.  New members may join through the September 24th rehearsal.  No audition is required although new members are encouraged to come at 7:00 pm on their first evening so that we may place you into the appropriate vocal part.  For more information see our website:   To be placed on our email list:
