Program Especially for International Spouses
Small English Practice Conversation Groups

Program Description and Information 2009-10:
Volunteers of Harvard Neighbors offer an educational and enjoyable program for non-native speakers of English in small groups. This program is offered on an annual basis to current, newly arrived Harvard international visiting faculty, scholars, researchers, and their spouses. While practicing or improving their English, participants also learn about American life as well as the cultures of their classmates. This program is offered for intermediate to advanced speakers and intended to supplement regular English-as-a–Second-Language courses. A non-academic, conversational style is emphasized in once-a-week sessions. Free with membership in Harvard Neighbors.

What: Registration for placement in English Conversation group
When: September 17, 12 noon - 2 p.m. or September 18, 1-3 p.m.
